THE FUN STUFF

The club regularly has organised hands on workshops and fun event days throughout the year. Check out our calendar for what is happening this month.

PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS

Practical workshops are organised regularly, generally on the 4th Wednesday night of each month at the Bridge Club starting at 7pm. Workshops may be hands on,  theory based or a combination that are aimed at giving the photographer a wider knowledge and familiarity of using their camera's settings. Presentations may also focus on Set Subject themes that are on our competition calendar eg Macro, Long Exposure. Some Prac workshops can be held at various locations with a set topic for the session.  eg: Equestrian Stables, Campfire, Night Cityscapes, Boat Harbour.

MY PORTFOLIO - 20/20 PRESENTATIONS

“My Portfolio 20/20” is an opportunity for you to introduce your particular style, passion or  interest in photography to other members of the club. “My Portfolio” means that it’s about you and your photographic passions, and “20/20” means that you have a maximum of 20 minutes and a maximum of 20 slides. The actual focus of the presentation is up to you, and the slides can be your own images as well as others to demonstrate what inspires you. So tell us about YOUR photography.
