The workshop in May is on Wednesday, 22nd at the Clubhouse. It's a hands on shoot and the subjects are still life and white on white.

Bring: Camera, tripod etc and also any props you would like to use such as white subjects eg. tea sets, china, ornaments etc. For the Still Life subjects, please bring along exotic fruit, flowers, be creative and think outside the box and see what you come up with.

Two settings will be set up with lighting - one with a white background and one with a black background.

Keep in mind that White on White is a Set Subject in October. (Print)

2019 PRAC NIGHTS AND PRESENTATIONS

Have you considered how you can help the club on our Prac Nights? Perhaps you have knowledge to share about photography, maybe its's a technical aspect of the camera or software editing a particular style of photography or even knowledege of the great photographers! We want to hear it!! You are always welcome to have a chat in front of the club on our Prac Nights or if it's a shorter presentation I'm sure you'll be able to organise a time at our Judging nights. If this interests you, contact John Abbott to make a date!

2019 CALENDAR

There is a new printable 2019 Calendar available for you to print out, I've got rid of the 'hover' feature that was stopping an easy printout for people.

SPYDER MONITOR COLOUR CALIBRATION

Did you know you can borrow the club's Colour Calibration Monitor? If you're looking at an image on your monitor that isn't true, how can you edit your image tot he best of your ability? If you calibrate your screen you will get a more accurate photographic print compared to the image you see on your screen. Contact the committee for more information.

2019 FRASER COAST AG SHOW

Now's the time to start thinking about the images you wish to enter into this years Show!

If you haven't entered before, don't be shy - get out there and have a go! There's plenty of classes to enter - Open, Mono, People, Theme: Cane and Cattle, Animals, Creative and a few others. There is an entry fee of $2 for each class you enter and you can submit up to 3 images per class.
