Richard Bassett
Born in Melbourne 1955, My love of photography started with trips around the country with my Father Richard who was an avid photographer, my father gave me my first Minolta camera and I still have a Minolta today. The digital world has brought about a renewed vigor in my photography and I was a foundation member of the Hervey Bay Photography Club. I became President in 2007. The wealth of knowledge available through competitions and training in our club is invaluable. I like all aspects of photography with a tendency towards nature being one of my favorite subjects. I'm now a accredited Judge with the Photographic Society of Queensland, and have received the honour of LAPS from the APS.
