My wife and I moved from a small country town in Victoria, to beautiful Hervey Bay

back in August 2004. My first camera was a Polaroid, you know the one where you take the shot,then pull out the film and wait for it to dry ( or shake it to dry faster )

Then you say to yourself " What a good photographer you are " Well haven't times changed. My next camera was a Sony DSC-F717 Digital Still Camera,this was purchased so as to take Happy Snaps of the grandchildren as they grew, but looking through a lens made me see the world in a new light. I got more and more interested in photography,went and bought a Cannon EOS400 SLR, joined the Hervey Bay Camera Club,and haven't looked back.

I have learnt so much at the club over the past few years, and hope to learn much, much,more, in the coming years.
